GBA Talent Partnership has been working in close collaboration with Gaston College, multiple manufacturing companies, and various community organizations to create a Manufacturing Academy providing individuals with industry-recognized foundational skills and certifications.
The customized Gaston College 92-hour program, informed and approved by local manufacturers, provides underrepresented, underemployed, and unemployed participants the opportunity to increase their employability and earning potential, thereby decreasing the degree of dependence on public assistance and services.
What’s next: Academy classes will start on May 6, 2024, at Gaston College Dallas Campus with a $250 fee.
They will run Monday through Thursday, 12:30pm to 6:30pm for 4 weeks.
