The annual Salute to Business Gala, held by the Gaston Business Association, recognizes the business and community contributions and leadership of award recipients. This year, we will be presenting awards to three different recipients.
The Spirit of the Carolinas honors an individual behind the success of a company who has demonstrated leadership within their industry and citizenship within their community on a local, state, or national level.
2024 Award Recipient: Chris Peek, CaroMont Health
The Spirit of the Economy award is presented to a company contributing to the overall economic development efforts in Gaston County and North Carolina.
2024 Award Recipient: Belmont Abbey College
The Spirit of Main Street, a new annual award, recognizes an established development project advancing shared prosperity, economic vitality, and quality of life in one of Gaston County’s numerous downtown districts.
2024 Award Recipient: Alchemy Coworking (Gastonia)
The big picture: Governor Pat McCrory will be this year’s Keynote Speaker. The event will be held on May 23rd from 6pm to 9pm at the Gaston Country Club.
