IFab Corp. recently bought a big piece of its Gaston County manufacturing operation, which employs about 400 people.
The metal manufacturing company purchased its 382,000-square-foot facility at 2408 Forbes Road last month for $12.65 million, according to Gaston County real estate records.
It sits on a 28.6-acre site along U.S. Route 321, just under 3 miles north of the state line.
By the numbers: IFab Corp., formerly known as Industrial Fabricators, total manufacturing footprint includes over 600,000 square feet of floor space, the company's website states.
GBA Investor, MECA Commercial Real Estate's Brendon Kipina represented the seller in its deal with IFab.
