🗳 GBA Announces Launch of Voter Education Resource as Early Voting Begins

Gastonia, N.C. — As early voting officially begins today, the Gaston Business Association (GBA) reaffirms its commitment to informing and empowering Gaston County residents by providing access to reliable, nonpartisan election information.

In partnership with The Election Hub, the GBA is proud to present a comprehensive compilation of responses from candidates running for office across Gaston County.

“An informed voter is the cornerstone of a healthy democracy,” said Patrick Mumford, President & CEO of the Gaston Business Association. “This initiative aims to help residents make informed decisions at the ballot box by ensuring easy access to clear and unbiased information about local races.”

The Election Hub is a free, nonpartisan resource dedicated to empowering voters with transparent and accessible information about statewide and local elections. Through a mix of social media, community partnerships, a website, podcasts, videos, events, and collaborations with local media, The Hub combats misinformation, promotes civic participation, and holds public officials accountable.

  • A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, The Hub operates in partnership with The Charlotte Ledger, a well-known digital newsroom. In addition to its work in Mecklenburg County, The Hub has joined forces with the Gaston Business Association to extend these vital voter education efforts to Gaston County for the 2025 municipal election.
