The GBA encourages local employers to participate in the 80th Annual Safety Awards Season, hosted in partnership with the N.C. Department of Labor.
Why it matters: This program provides businesses the opportunity to be recognized for their commitment to workplace safety using data from OSHA 300 logs and 300A summaries. Eligible companies may qualify for Gold or Silver Safety Awards, as well as the Million-Hour Award, highlighting exceptional safety performance and dedication to employee well-being.
Participation is free, and applications are submitted using your organization’s OSHA reporting data.
What's next: To celebrate these achievements locally, the GBA will host the Safety Awards Banquet on June 17 at the Gastonia Conference Center. This event will recognize companies across Gaston County that are leading the way in creating safe and productive work environments.
